All Kalakaar Jewellery orders are shipped from the United Kingdom with tracked delivery.

In-Stock Items

Orders placed on weekends or UK bank holidays are dispatched on the following working day.

Pre-Order Items

Items marked as pre-order may take 7–14 working days to dispatch unless a different timeframe is specified on the product page. If an order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, your entire order may be held to ship together once all items are ready.

Europe

  • Standard International Delivery (5–12 working days): €9.20

Refund, Returns & Warranty Policy

Kalakaar Jewellery is crafted from premium stainless steel with 18ct PVD gold coating, a combination known for its durable and corrosion-resistant properties. PVD plating forms a strong, bonded coating that is significantly more durable and resistant to tarnishing than traditional gold plating.

Returns and Exchanges

Due to hygiene and quality standards, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, including incorrect size or style choices, or returns due to wear and tear.

Warranty Period

We offer a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery that covers manufacturing defects and issues related to plating quality, including discolouration, tarnishing, fading or peeling that occurs under normal wear and proper care. PVD coatings, particularly on 316L stainless steel, are designed to last considerably longer than traditional plating, with high-quality pieces often maintaining colour and finish for multiple years of normal use.

What the Warranty Covers

  • Defects in manufacturing
  • Plating failures (including discolouration, tarnish or fading) under normal wear and care
  • Structural faults not caused by misuse

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Damage from misuse, accidents, impact, abrasion or improper handling
  • Normal wear and tear (including superficial scratches)
  • Damage from exposure to harsh chemicals, prolonged abrasion, or environments beyond everyday use
  • Lost or stolen items

Why Some Damage Isn't Covered Under Warranty

Kalakaar Jewellery's 1‑year warranty covers verified manufacturing defects and plating quality issues (including discolouration, tarnishing or fading under normal wear and proper care). It does not cover damage that results from physical stress, impacts, bending, pulling, snagging, or similar activities, especially for delicate items.

Examples of damage not covered include:

  • Chains that have stretched or broken due to catching or snagging
  • Broken or loose stone settings from impact or bending
  • Bending or warping from pressure or twisting

This is standard industry practice: even though materials like 316L stainless steel are highly resistant to corrosion and general wear, delicate constructions require extra care to maintain their structural integrity over time.

Remedies Under Warranty

If a defect is verified under this warranty, Kalakaar Jewellery will, at our discretion, provide one of the following options:

  1. Replacement with the same item
  2. Store credit for the value of the item
  3. Refund if neither a replacement nor credit is reasonably available

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect those rights.
